Try some regular fish food. I used to have crayfish and I used to feed them fish food. When I fed the crayfish fish food I took them out of their tank and put them in a container with some water and fed them the fish food in the container. I did this so the the fish food won't make a mess in the tank. If the fish food floats on the top of the water stir it around and the food will fall to the bottom.
Some favorite foods of crayfish are worms, insects, insect larvae, and the eggs ... How big theyget, and how fast they grow, depends on many factors, such as water ... but even a smallercrayfish's pinch can hurt, so kids learn how to be careful ...

Native species of crayfish that are are a normal part of the ecosystem are not harmful. But there are several invasive species, like the rusty crayfish, that can kill off native crayfish and other crustacians. The rusty crayfish has a thicker shell and less "meat" and therefore are are not a good part of the food chain depriving the ecosystem of the nutrients from the crustacians it replaces. Invasive species also tend to destroy large amounts of water plants that further degrade the food chain. Also there is an infection that occasionally occurs in crayfish that can spread to other animals but this is usually a normal part of the life cycle and not neccasarily harmful.
They have to eat hard-shelled, meaty food in order to survive, including crabs, clams, snails, oysters, crayfish, and shrimp.

Crayfish will eat anything that get to there claws. They usually eat meal-worms, cat food, and regular fish food. They do prefer mealworms though. All you have to do to feed it, is to drop the food in front of the crayfish's claws.
