∙ 13y agoA special meal in France is escargot. It is basically a dish cooked of land snails, usually served as an appetizer. (cool French fact: "escargot" actually means "snail" in French!) The snails are cooked in a creamy garlic sauce or chicken broth and then poured back in the shells with butter and sauce for serving. There may be additional ingredients, suck as garlic, thyme, parsley, and pine nuts. Escargot is always found in French restaurants and you might like to try some one day in a visit to France.
