There are seven forms of lightsaber combat in Star Wars.
- Form 1: Shii-Cho
- Form 2: Makashi
- Form 3: Soresu
- Form 4: Ataru
- Form 5:Shien/Djem So
- Form 6: Niman
- Form 7: Juyo/Vaapad
Each form has its own strenghths and weaknesses. A Jedi or Sith student would choose which style best fits their abilities.
