The first Thanksgiving!

Fowl (not necessarily turkey) and deer were definitely on the menu. Other foods were probably corn, squash and pumpkin (serve as a vegetable, not in a pie). Foods that were not on the menu were desserts, apples, potatoes and cranberry sauce (though cranberries were used for their tartness).
The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621.

October of 1621 celebrated the first thanksgiving as we know it. The Pilgrims did not celebrate this as their thanksgiving until 1623.
