If its the same as a 96, its the top row rt. fuse 15amp. Marty
It's fuse #14 in the fuse box under the bonnett drivers side under the wipers.
The cigarette lighter (I'm assuming that's what you meant) is on a separate fuse than the horn. Check that fuse, if the fuse is fine then your most likely culpret is the actual horn switch in the steering wheel.
there is no cigarette lighter in the 96-00 civics. it should be obvious by the lack of an ashtray as well......
It's most likely a fuse...check your owners manual for the location. On my 99 montero the cigarette light is #5 in the passager compartment fuse box 15A and the Air Conditioning fuse is in the Engine compartment #7 30A.
yes because of the year you will not pass inspection but the fuse should be the one also used for the cigarette lighter usually they are 30 amp fuses
Check in the under the glove box. Open the glove box and the plastic piece should be able to lift up and the fuse box should be under there. In my 96 cutlass the fuse for the cig lighter is on the right side of the glove box, accessible by opening the passenger side door.
check the fuse. its located below the steering wheel, top left side.
I had a 94 & 96 taurus and you had to take the ash tray out to get to it.
Hi, The radio fuse is a yellow 20A fuse that is also the cig lighter in the box in the car. Steve H.
not 100% sure that this is the same as 96 model but found out on mine there isn't such a convectional definition. basically pluged a ceramic heater 200w into my cigarette lighter which worked for few seconds and then stopped. checked all the fusses and all of them were ok. managed to pull out the cigarette lighter with the plug and checked the connector. with the ignition on tested the connector and noticede there was power at the connector but on the body of the plug there was a transistor that would have acted as the fuse and looked that it hade taken the strain!I am going to take it to a electronical shop to have it replaced. i belive the cigarette lighter not to be used for accesories that require "fuses" more than 15A. heater i used needed 17A or higher!.Answernot 100% sure that this is the same as 96 model but found out on mine there isn't such a convectional definition. basically pluged a ceramic heater 200w into my cigarette lighter which worked for few seconds and then stopped. checked all the fusses and all of them were ok. managed to pull out the cigarette lighter with the plug and checked the connector. with the ignition on tested the connector and noticede there was power at the connector but on the body of the plug there was a transistor that would have acted as the fuse and looked that it hade taken the strain!I am going to take it to a electronical shop to have it replaced. i belive the cigarette lighter not to be used for accesories that require "fuses" more than 15A. heater i used needed 17A or higher!.
there is a fuse panel under the back seat. the bottom of the seat must be removed to access it.
