Caspar, Malchior, Balthazar: Gold, incense, MYRRH.
Balthasar was the wise man from Ethiopia so probably gold because that was very plentiful in that region.
No one knows how many magi there were, or what any of their names were, so it's only theory or tradition that Balthasar was one of them.
Tradition holds it that Balthazzar was one of the wise men, or magi. The Bible does not record any of their names, and it doesn't say who gave which gift. Also, it doesn't say there were three wise men. That has become tradition because of the number of gifts. There were probably more wise men, and most definitely were more in the party, than three.
The Bible (particularly Matthew 2:11) only mentions the 3 gifts from the "wise-men" or Magi and does not say there were 3 men nor give their names.
Tradition gives their names as Theokeno, Mensor, and Sair and later as Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthazar.
In the writings of Sister Anne Catherine Emmerich, the King called Balthazar or Sair gave the gift of frankincence (or incense).
Balthazar brought Jesusmyrrh.
The bible says only what was brought, not what each individual gave.
The names of the Wise Men or Magi are not in Scripture, neither is their number. Only 3 types of gifts are mentioned from these men.
Balthzar the name commonly attributed to the Three Wise Men. They brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Balthasar gave Jesus gold.
Gaspar, one of the Three wise men, brought the gift of frankincense
We can say they were wise men and not kings, as kings do not travel alone without his army. But the gifts by which wise men are not mentioned in the bible and therefore the number of wise men or magi is not known nor if each magi brought one gift or multiple gifts.
Faith.
The bible does not mention it.
he gave myrrh
His name is Jerard Woods and the name of the song is "I Bring You Jesus"
In the play Romeo and Juliet the character of Balthazar gives Jesus gold. The play was written by William Shakespeare.
