One window, probably the switch or the electric window motor. All windows, probably the fuse or circuit breaker.
The window goes down easier because gravity is helping. The window tracks could be dirty or the motor could be weak, causing the trouble going up.

IF THIS IS A POWER WINDOW THE MOTOR IS GOING BAD.IT HAS THE POWER TO PULL THE WINDOW DOWN BUT PUSHING IT UP IS MUCH HARDER FOR THE MOTOR.GEARS COULD ALSO BE THE ISSUE IN THE MOTOR IF IT MAKES A GRINDING NOISE IT IS THE GEARS,IF JUST NOT PUSHING UP THE WINDOW THE MOTOR IS JUST GOING BAD.
Check if it is blocked by anything
If you are having trouble with your window going back up to the up position, I assume that it has no trouble going down. The problem may be the motor in the door being to weak to push the window back up. You can replace this for about 55.00 good luck
Take door panel off... Look inside window panel while going up and down, see what is missing or broken , then replace or fix.
Because when the window is going down it is aided by gravity and the motor doesnt have to actually do anything. Whereas it has to lift the windows full weight when going up. Try greasing the runners, this may get a little more life out of the motor.
I felt dumb but I had the same problem, there was a WINDOW LOCK I had pushed, it is on the Drivers Door. My youngest son figured it out
a million dollar idea waiting to happen!
The if that window is the only one not going up and down, its the motor, or maybe even a short in the wiring. ** My 4 door went out one window at the time.
