Immediately, there would be a massive reduction in air pollution caused by automobiles (the largest source of man made air pollution). Globally, as far as greenhouse gases are concerned, very little will change. Water vapor is the most predominant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere comprising more than 99% of all greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide production by humans is less than 11% of the world's production of CO2, which in turn is less than half of the less than 0.1% of atmospheric gases that are not oxygen or nitrogen.

Carbon dioxide however does pose a problem for the oceans, contributing to coral bleaching and acidification of natural waters. Surprisingly, most of the production of CO2 in the atmosphere comes from rain forests and jungles which provide no appreciable benefits to the atmosphere (all oxygen production in rain forests is used by the rain forests. Methane and CO2 from rotting vegetation adds to greenhouse gases). Though they do provide other benefits.

Consequently, the most notable changes would merely be the partial loss of our most abundant supply of energy, and the resultant higher cost of energy.

Sea levels will rise. Extreme weather events will become more and more frequent. The polar caps will melt. And economies will collapse as a result of extreme fluctuations in the prices of fossil fuels (oil prices have already begun to fluctuate since production has plateaued and begun to decline since 2008).

What will happen if fossil fuels were gone?

you will use a different energy

How can fossil fuels be described as a renewable resource?

They can't. Fossil fuel is made from fossils millions of years ago. Renewable has to happen much sooner than that.

What would happen if there were no fossil fuels?

We will have to use renewable energy like solar, wind and geothermal power and continue to use nuclear power. We also must use electric or hydrogen cars because without fossil fuels we will not have gasoline.Life would be different.

What would happen if people keep using fossil fuels?

If you keep using fossil fuels it there will be no more and you cant give off energy.

What Will Happen When you Run Of fossil Fuel?

we will have to use solar energy. we would not be using gas anymore

When did Fossil Fighters happen?

Fossil Fighters happened in 2008.

What are the positive aspects of using this resource type of energy?

Solar energy is renewable. and it is a natural energy .

What will happen to the earth if you continue burning fossil fuels and cut down trees?

- Exhaustion of the fossil fuels reserves - Energetic crisis - Destruction of our planet Earth - Wars for energetic resources (as the wars of United States and Israel against Muslim countries)

What do scietists think will eventually happen to the universe?

the universe will continue to expand forever and ultimately most of the matter will be turned to heat energy.

What will happen if you use fossil fuel?

pollution

What would happen if you had no renewable energy?

I think this is easy to answer. If there is no renewable energy available, all out non renewable energy will run out. The continuous gas price hike is one indication of fossil fuel depletion. If we ran out of fossil fuels, electricity would really be expensive as we have to find other sources. Basically, all machines, equipment or anything that needs fuel to run, will have to run from another source of energy.
