If the place where the dipstick for the oil is comes out of the engine it will cause an oil leak. The engine might not be able to build up enough pressure to keep running either on the 1984 Cutlass Supreme. It should be replaced.

Brake light failure happens from a variety of problems, such as burned out bulbs, a short in the headlight wiring or a blown fuse. You can tell if the bulbs are out by a rapidly blinking turn indicator, a blown fuse by checking the fuse is the panel on the side of the dash, and check if its a short circuit by using a volt reader in the light socket.

He's checking you out or either you have a big rump. happens to me all the time.

Start by checking for a bad fuse or relay in your fuse panel or power distribution box in your engine compartment. THE POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX IS LIVE - DISCONNECT YOUR NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. Some models, like my 1995 have power door lock relays in the jack storage compartment for unlocking/locking/and driver's door unlock. If it is 1995 or newer I can help with the fuse/relay locations if I know the year.

It should be fine, but you will need to drain the oil out to the correct level on the dipstick.

If it is on an earlier model CRV it is located behind the exhaust manifold at the center front of the engine. This is really stupid engineering by Honda because the dipstick tube is hidden down low behind it. You can't see it in the dark, or dim light. What happens with the steel dipstick in that location is that the constant hot/cool temps rapidly rust the dipstick until it breaks off. This happened to mine. A new one is around $30. I have never ever had a dipstick tube rust off, and I have owned about 40 cars. I much prefer the German engineering of my VW.

Adding oil on the dipstick or in the tube should not affect any engine performance. However, the sheer small size will likely require oil spillage, which will cause smoking and odors once the engine heats up. Also, allow about 30 minutes to elapse before reading the dipstick to guarantee level accuracy. For best results, use the appointed filler piece to add oil.

dead battery or try taking the battery terminals off and cleaning the terminals and battery cables with a wire brush and rehook.
