what happens if the transaxle range sensor goes bad?

The speed sensor connector is located on top of the transaxle, passenger side. It is next to the end where the CV axle goes into the transaxle.
When the oxygen sensor goes bad, the check engine light goes on.

The knock sensor advances the timing to optimize fuel efficiency. When it goes out, your gas mileage goes down.
It breaks.
The check engine light will illuminate. The code(s) will direct you to the faulty sensor.
Your speedometer doesn't work.
Nothing...........there is none.
If a transmission speed sensor fails, the transmission will default to second gear.
If the sensor is erratic, then the engine could shake or sometimes not run. If the sensor is completely bad, then the car wont start at all.
