You lose weight. You can also affect your energy levels, your ability to think clearly and your ability to function normally. If you are too deficient, your body can start to 'eat itself' and cause permanent damage to organs. Many people that suffer starvation, even once given food, cannot fully recover.

It varies. Just not enough calories for a day or so won't really do much. Your body stores about 3 days worth of caloires in the liver to be used up naturally by the body. After that is used up, the body will naturally go to stored energy (found in fat cells) for more energy not gained through eating enough calories. If this continues, and the body is still deprived of calories, then fat will begin to be lost. Eventually, the body starves.

You would start to draw on your fat reserves and lose weight. When your fat reserves are exhausted, the body will start to use muscle as a source of energy. Eventually you would become exhausted and ultimately die.

If not enough calories are consumed daily, then the body will turn to stored calories and energy in fat cells around the body. This stored energy will be used up, reducing the size of the fat cells and causing weight loss. If this continues, the body could face malnutrition.

Eating only 1100 calories a day is not good for your body. You can do a lot of damage to your organs. If you don't consume enough calories per day your muscles will eat into your fat and it will make weight loss impossible.
