You don't need milk after infancy to have strong and healthy bones. Green vegetables, including broccoli, have lots of calcium. If you choose not to drink milk, make sure that you are eating plenty of green veggies. Not drinking milk benefits you if you get enough calcium. You will have even stronger bones than before, because you will be protected from calcium loss. The calcium in milk is indigestible, and therefore causes you to lose calcium. Never listen to anyone who tells you to drink 3-4 glasses of milk a day. Limit your milk consumption and try to get your calcium from other sources.

If you stop drinking milk and don't research other sources of calcium, you can wind up with calcium deficiency. Milk or no milk, calcium deficiency causes osteoporosis. If you have osteoporosis, milk can worsen your condition. Talk to your doctor about alternative ways to get enough calcium.

If you don't like milk, you don't have to drink it at all.

Milk should be drank in moderate amounts. Too much milk can result in the body having excess vitamin A, which can interfere with growth, stop menstruation, damage red blood corpuscles, and cause skin rashes, headaches, nausea, and jaundice. Some people have a condition called lactose intolerance. Lactose is a kind of sugar found only in milk. When these people drink milk, they may have intestinal pain and diarrhea. Lactic acid is also derived from milk, and excess lactic acid may cause muscle cramps and tiredness.

If you don't like milk, than you don't drink it. It's not as healthy as common knowledge will tell you anyway. In fact, about 10 or so raw almonds will give you as much calcium as a glass of milk.

Milk is widely promoted as an important source of calcium, and many people assume that if you don't drink milk, you can't have strong bones and teeth.

While growing children, teenagers, and pregnant mothers do need plenty of calcium for strong bones and teeth, there are many other good sources of calcium besides cows' milk. There are good milk substitutes made from soy beans (soy milk) and from almonds (almond milk.) Some vegetables, such as broccoli and spinach, are also good sources of calcium, as are many seafoods.

Milk is a good source of calcium and other vitamins (since most milk sold in our marketplace is fortified with vitamins). Calcium and Vitamin D are necessary to keep healthy bones and teeth. Even people who DO drink milk often need to take supplements of calcium to get the amount of it needed to remain healthy. If you don't want to drink milk, there are other ways to get the calcium you need.

Well, you'll certainly get your daily supply of calcium. Milk is actually made up of mostly water, so chances are that nothing will happen that's out of the ordinary.
