What happens if you have not paid your car payment in over a year and no one has repossessed it?

This just means they have not found it yet. They can pick it up and, they can take you to court and you will have to pay the amount owed plus court fees and fines for hiding the vehicle. If that's the case.

It depends on you locatily, but in general, yes, if you are behind on your payment, your vehicle can be repossessed.

No, your down payment and any other payment you have made will be put to your subtotal for the car.

Ballon Payment? or maybe its paid off?

The vehicle will be repossessed and the leasor will be held responsible for the unpaid balance of the lease.

Yes, if you have proof that your lender received your payment before your vehicle was repossessed. If you have this proof, you can sue them and get your car back and not be charged for any fees.

it doesn't matter if the pope takes over your vehicle payments. if he stops making them, your credit is damaged and the vehicle is repossessed.

no cos i aint tellin u u are an idiot find out in a book

Of course. The whole idea of "security" in your pledge of the car in exchange for the loan is that it is easier to repossess it than to sue you for non-payment, and that applies up until the very last payment is made.

Yes and no it depends on the circumstances. For instance is it to a car or home. Anything can be repossessed if not paid for. Also if not repossessed it will have to be paid for if you're in the wrong and the person or company takes the matter to court.

You have none, except to get your payment account current. Remember, you DO NOT OWN the ATV's until you have paid them off in full. The lender owns them.

Pay or, have paid or, pays or, has paid.

your auto loan gets paid off and whatever is left over goes to the bank

A due payment which has NOT been paid!

As long as the contract is in DEFAULT, the collateral CAN be repossessed. One dollar or one day. Its a GAMBLE you take when you are in default.

It is possible to work out a deal with the bank after it is repossessed. However, a new loan or legal agreement will have to be signed.

A motorcycle that was paid for on a credit card can not be repossessed considering the credit card company paid the dealer. You must pay the card company back though or they can take you to court.

Monthly payment means you get paid a small or big amount of money. Weekly payment means you get paid once a week. Daily payment means you get paid everyday. Yearly... i'm not sure about that, ask an adult or someone you know.

Not unless you have paid for the car. The car belongs to the lender and not you. I am surprised they have not taken you to court over this. They will eventually for sure.

You can be sued and your car repossessed.

Ethically speaking has to be paid back.
