You should probably contact your othodontist. I noticed a cracking on mine and showed him. I eventually found out that I grind my teeth at night, and that was damaging it. He told me to still wear the retainers and wear a football mouthguard over them to protect them and my teeth. Now it takes the damage. Though the grinding caused my crack, yours could have been something else. Maybe it was dropped and that cracked it.
well, i use to have a retainer and after it broke i needed to go beck to the orthodontist and he fixed it but, it cos-ted a lot extra because it broke :( but the best thing to do is to go to the orthodontist
your only option is to go to your local orthodontist and request to have a new one made
You will have to buy a new one. They are expensive, so don't lose that one!
If you don't wear your retainer, then your teeth will stick out and you have to wear braces again.
You're in trouble
Yes, the retainer will still fit properly. The filling fills a hole on the inside of the tooth, and the retainer covers the outside of the teeth so the cavity is not affected.

* It does not hurt to get a retainer * Before you get it, they have to make impressions of your mouth which is not painful at all * You need to brush your retainer at night * The retainer covers your top teeth put has a wire in front of your incisors(top teeth) * You get to choose the design/color of your retainer
A retainer is used for straiting your teeth if its messed up.
