when your membership expires that means you will not get to go to the port or gift island and you wont get to do half the fun stuff the members get to do but if you buy membership before it expires then you will get a longer time as a member hope this helps

If you have a paid membership account then it depends on how you are paying for membership. If you used a Moshi Time Card, your paid membership account will expire when the time runs out. If you charged your membership and did not set up automatic renewal, your account will expire at the end of the amount of time you paid for. If your account is set up for automatic renewal, then it should not expire unless there is a problem with the account the renewal is being charged to.
If your paid membership account expires, your account will automatically become a free, Basic Membership account with limited access to Moshi Monsters.

∙ 12y agoWhen your moshi monster membership runs out you can no longer go to the port, underground-disco, have a big Moshling zoo ,go to harolds or the game shop or even the rox trees but all the stuff that you got with the membership you can keep as well you can't upgrade your house anymore

∙ 11y agoWhen your paid Moshi Membership expires, your account becomes a free Basic Member account. You lose access to member only features and lose your house floors and styles. Your monster's color changes back to what it originally was and you can keep all your friends but you can't add any more if you are over 500. You get to keep 2 moshlings. If you decide to get any more moshlings, you must let one go. You get to keep everything you bought except for the rooms/house.
If you ever go back to a paid Moshi Membership, you will find everything still in your account, including all the Moshlings you had when your membership expired plus any Moshlings you added while a Basic member.

Moshi Monsters will keep your paid member account information and will restore your account and all of your moshlings once you renew your paid membership.

The answer depends on why you lost your membership.
If your paid membership expired, your account will become a free Basic Account and you will not have access to areas that are for paid Moshi Members. You will only have two moshlings in your room and will only have one room. However, Moshi Monsters stores your paid account so that if you ever pay for a membership again, your items will still be there.
If you lose your membership because you are banned, you will lose everything.
