What happens on last episode of the 1 season on vampire diaries?

elena turns into a vampire in the book "the fury" then katherine comes and alll.....well it ends with elena being a vampire with stefan being one too and meredith (elena's friend) is a smaller version of vampires. she has small fangs and little power etc.. bonnie being a witch , and DAMON TURNS BACK INTO A HUMAN and then later on in one of the books , dies while trying to save bonnie....the ending is like with everyone going back to normal and they have their memory erased of all the bad things and mr.tanner comes back to life and so do the others but no one forgets about vampires..and ah tyler smallwood turns out to be a vamprie and meredith also happens to find her twin or maybe younger brother....

I'm not sure about that... I mean, seriously, if they die, it'd be pointless watching the series, or even reading the books.

I can't for sure say because the book series isn't done ( new book coming out in March) so I dont absolutly know

Well I wouldn't want to spoil it but....okay! So Elena dies, and she makes Stephen promise that he will take care of Damon and he follows him to Italy or something like that. Meanwhile something bad is happening in their hometown, and Bonnie communicates spiritually with Elena and she helps her and blah blah blah... everyone is saved! Then Elena comes back to life!!! I know right! But she is human again but has powers! So eventually in the very last book she must decide who she belongs with Damon or Stephen? The last book comes out March 2011! Its a year away but if your a big fan you'll wait for the last exciting adventure!

"The Departed"

In the harsh reality of the present situation, Elena longs for simpler times when her parents, Grayson and Miranda, and Aunt Jenna were still alive and her biggest concern was her relationship with Matt. Determined to protect his sister, Jeremy makes a decision that will change everything. Stefan and Damon leave Mystic Falls together on a mission, but soon split up when Elena needs one of them. When Alaric reveals to the founder's council that they are vampires, Caroline and Tyler are forced to make a life-changing decision and flee from Mystic Falls at the urgency of their parents. Alaric kills Klaus (who was revealed to have made Damon's, Stefan's, Caroline's, Abby's and Tyler's bloodline). Bonnie makes a secret deal to reincarnate Klaus in the body of Tyler so that her friends wouldn't die (however no one else knows this, as they all believe that Klaus was lying about being the head of their bloodline). Elena has to decide without knowing that Klaus is not really dead to see Damon or Stefan. She phones Damon to tell him that she is going to Stefan and that is who she chooses to be with and says "Maybe if we met first..." It is then shown in a flash back that Damon and Elena met the night of the car crash involving Elena and her parents, but after meeting her, Damon compelled her saying that "No one can know I'm in town yet." Elena and Matt get into a car crash due to Rebekah and Elijah who said that the only way to kill Alaric was to kill Elena. During the crash Elena is having flashbacks to when her and her parents were dying in the car. When Stefan comes to save them, she signals him to save Matt instead of her, killing her, which made Alaric die with her (he then later says goodbye to Jeremy in ghost form). At the end of the episode Dr. Fell reveals to Damon that Elena wasn't suffering from a concussion, but a bleeding in the brain and that she did what she had to do to save her, by giving her vampire blood.
