The density will increase. Think about water, when it turns to solid, the ice floats which means it just became less dense then the liquid. hope this helps

it is increased with the increasing density

Is density of liquid have lower density of solid?

That depends on the liquid and the solid. Coal is a solid with a very low density. Mercury is a liquid with a very high density.

How does the density of a liquid compare with the density of a solid?

That depends on the liquid and the solid. Liquid mercury has a very high density. Liquid gasoline has a very low density. At the melting point the density of a liquid and a solid are almost the same.

What happens to a substance during changes between a solid in a liquid?

When a substance changes from a solid to a liquid and vice versa, its density changes.

When a solid is changed to a liquid what happens?

This phenomenon is called melting, the ordered molecules of the solid becomes non-ordered in the liquid phase.

What happens to the density of an object as matter changes from solid to liquid to gas?

It usually gets lower.

How is a solid changed into a liquid?

a soolid is changed into a liquid by when the solid melts like for example ice it is a solid and then when it melts it is a liquid

What is the relationship between mass volume and density of solids liquids and gasses?

mass is mass for solid, liquid, and gas. density of solid > density of liquid > density of gas volume of solid < volume of liquid < volume of gas There are some exceptions to "density of solid > density of liquid" and "volume of solid < volume of liquid", with some of them being ice / water and rock / magma.

Is a solid and a liquid density?

no because solid is hard not a liquid

What is a solid becoming a liquid defind as?

A solid is changed to liquid form of matter through melting A liquid changed to a solid is freezing

What causes object of the same volume to sink rather than float?

A solid object in contact with a liquid in which the solid does not dissolve will sink if the density of the solid is greater than the density of the liquid and will float if the density of the solid is lower than the density of the liquid.

How is a liquid changed into a solid?

A liquid becomes a solid when it freezes.

How does the density of a body and that of a liquid determine that whether the body will float or sink into that liquid?

If the density of the solid body is greater than the density of the liquid the bodywill sink. If the density of the liquid is greater than the density of the solid thebody will float. If the solid and the liquid have the same density, the solid body can be any whereinside the liquid and may move following currents if they exist in the liquid.Read more:How_does_the_density_of_a_body_and_that_of_a_liquid_determine_that_whether_the_body_will_float_or_sink_into_that_liquid

Do all solid and liquid have the same density?

The answer is NO?REASON- DENSITY is define as mass over volume, and it tells us the degree of heavy-ness of a solid and a liquid. so it is impossible for all solid and liquid to have the same density. Unless the liquid is made to have the same density with the solid and vice versa.

What happens when a solid changes to a liquid?

nothing happens after a solid chages into a liquid.

What is the highest density out of solid gas or liquid?

Solid

How can liquid changed from liquid to a solid?

A liquid can be changed into solid through a process of physical change called freezing. Freezing is when particals in a substance are slowed down to the point that they cannot pass over each other, when this happens, the item that the particals make up becomes a solid.

Density of a liquid a solid are same what will happen if the solid is slightly pushed in that liquid?

Answermelt

Solid or liquid argon have greater density?

Matter has more density when solid than when in a liquid state. The atoms are closer together.

What is the difference between the methods of finding density of liquid than finding the density of solid?

A solid has air gaps. Density is mass per volume. Volume of the known mass of solid is determined by displacement of liquid in which the solid is insoluble. In case of liquid, the mass of known volume of liquid is determined.
