No. The South Pole is colder than the North Pole. this is because the South Pole sits amidst the large ice and land mass known as the Antarctic, whilst the North Pole is merely a floating ice shelf, and therefore several degrees warmer throughout the seasons.

∙ 11y agoIn general, the temperatures at the north and south poles are cold and those at the equator are hot. But if the temperature at the equator rises, the temperature at the poles may rise due to transfer of excess heat by air and water currents from the equator to tha poles.

∙ 13y agoNot even close. The south pole is tilted away from the sun and the north pole is tilted towards it. The north pole is around 0 to 10 degrees as the south pole is around -60 to -10 degrees.
