it becomes a mist either way or it evaporates really fast then turns back into the two gases : hygergon and, oxygen. hope that helps!! == Precipitation. Mist and fog are just low lying clouds, so yeah that could happen.

Here in North Carolina, the weather is like that over half of the year, as humidity (moist air) is so bad that you can practically drink the air, especially in the summer, when humidity is at an unbearable 98%!

When air can't hold any more water vapor, the humidity is 100%. If the air gets cooler, the water vapor condenses, forming dew. If the air gets warmer, it can hold more water vapor, so the humidity decreases even though the amount of water vapor stays the same.

Nothing until the temperature changes. We experience this phenomenon as humidity. If the temperature drops then the water vapor will condense into droplets and we will see fog or mists. The water vapor will rise until it finds a cooler layer of air and it will condense into clouds. Eventually the water droplets get too big to stay in the air and will precipitate as rain, sleet, snow, or hail.

Do you mean can't hold any more moisture? When it can't hold any more moisture the clouds become to heavy and it begins to rain until the clouds are light enough again.

If you mean that the air CAN hold more moisture then all that happens it that a cloud forms and starts to gather water until it can't hold anymore and what I outlined before happens.

the rate of condensation is greater than the rate of condensation

When air reaches 100% saturation with humidity, it rains - or you are surrounded by fog, either one.

What happens if you pour water into a jar full of marbles?

When you poor water into a jar full of marbles, the water will fill the spaces between the marbles; bubbles will also appear.

What happens when you drop a match in a water bottle then put the top on the water bottle?

If the match is lit and the bottle is empty, the match will burn all the oxygen and then it will go out, since it requires oxygen to keep burning. If the bottle is full, you will have a wet match.

Does light reflect off of clouds?

Of course. The reason clouds appear white is that the vapor droplets in them are reflecting the full range of spectral emissions, which appears as white light. The sky is blue because smaller Oxygen and Nitrogen atoms selectively scatter blue light. When the weather is "fair" the white clouds will be distinct against the blue sky, but as there is more moisture in the air, there will be more white light reflected and the sky will "wash out."

Does water expand when temperature drops below the freezing point?

Interesting observation! Water indeed expands when it freezes and is the only thing that does this! Without this unique property, we might not have any life on this planet. This allows ice to stay on top of water and life underneath to keep living.

What kind of mixture has all 3 states of matter in it?

Water can exist in all 3 states, liquid, solid and gas. At room temperature, water is liquid. When it is below zero degrees celsius, it becomes ice, a solid. When it is above 100 degrees celsius, it becomes steam, a gas.

What are the steps of condensation?

Evaporation happens when heat(the sun) hits water, and it turns into a gas. Which is also called "water vapor." Then when a whole amount of the gas comes together, it becomes a cloud. Then once the cloud becomes full(after a long period of time)it falls into a liquid. Which is called precipitation.

Why does heating of cold air reduce humidity?

Heating the air reduces the relative humidity. It doesn't change the amount of watervapor in the air. But warm air is able to hold more water vapor than cold air can, sowhen you heat the air, the air becomes 'less full' of water vapor, which means lowerrelative humidity.

What happens to chlorine to get a full outer shell?

In this instance, it becomes a singly negative ion.

Is a new substance formed when water turns to steam?

No, just the physical form has changed from liquid water to water vapor. When the vapor cools, it will turn back into liquid water. You can see this process, called condensation, on the side of a glass full of ice. Water vapor touching the cold surface will condense back into liquid, and dribble down the side of the glass.

What is the difference between humidity and saturation?

In nature, air is known to contain water vapor in itself. When the water vapor condenses, or turns into liquid water, there is a very high chance of precipitation. The dew point temperature is the temperature at which the water vapor in air condenses into a liquid. When air is at the dew point temperature, a cloud begins to form. Relative humidity is a long term that simply means is how full of water is air. Air can only hold so much water vapor, and when air is full of it, it is "saturated." When there is no water vapor in the air, there is 0% humidity. When air is full of water vapor and can't hold anymore, there is 100% humidity.

Why does rain full and where does the rain come from?

Rain falls when water vapor in the atmosphere condenses into water droplets and becomes too heavy to stay suspended. This condensation happens when warm air rises, cools, and reaches its dew point. The air can cool either by moving higher into the atmosphere or by encountering a cooler surface. The source of rainwater is mainly from evaporation of water bodies like oceans, lakes, and rivers, and also from transpiration by plants.
