I have taken Wellbutrin XL 300 mg and Adderall XR 20 mg and I did feel the adderall work. Personally Wellbutrin has never done anything for me. After 4 months of being on it my physician and I decided to switch to Adderall XR 20. This is the second day I have been taking Adderall and I accidentally took my Wellbutrin out of habit and I have not felt any different then yesterday. Adderall is a great drug. I'm on day two and I'm very very optimistic about the future. However if you are older and/or have had heart problems and/or ceasures this could be a fatal mistake. Be careful when mixing drugs but if your young and your just trying to get high then you'll be just fine. Personally I would do the xanax separate from the others just because xanax is so intense that you wouldn't even feel the effects of the other drugs. Good luck, Be safe, and Have fun!!!

∙ 12y agoYes you can. My pych has me on clonazapam which is a benzo like xanax except it is just has a longer half life then the xanax. And he scribed me wellbutrin, and adderall 20mg 2 times a day, so i can only assume it is safe. Considering that my psychiatrist is chief of psychiatry in my city and he sais that i should not worry so neither should you. Just make sure to take the prescribed dosage.

∙ 12y agoEveryone is different so it's best to let your doctor make that choice. But i take both and have had no side effects from them. But the adderall does help my adhd and i have no problem eating or sleeping while taking it but also i was on xanax prior to being put on adderall due to years of severe panic attacks. The medication has not healed me or prevents all symptoms but at least it does give me a great deal of relief from symptoms most of the time. However depending on your problems it may have adverse reactions and may not be a safe combination.

That is the Wellbutrin helping to calm your anxiety level. After a while, you may actually be able to not take any xanax or you may find yourself being able to handle the anxiety without a chemical fixer

unless you have depression, i dont think that the wellbutrin is needed. i got put on adderall xr and wellbutrin at first but they counteracted eachother. adderall should do the jobalone
Will taking Wellbutrin and Xanax together hurt you?
Tmoxicillin slows down the metabolism rate of wellbutrin. That means that after a while of taking both of them, there becomes a buildup of wellbutrin in your system and this can cause problems or in my case a seizure on the 10th day of taking them both. Bad idea.

The effects of Adderall are different for people who do not have ADD.
