It just stays black because when you mix black with anything it just turns black

I don't know about mocha brown, but to make various shades of brown, you mix complementary colors: red and green, orange and blue, purple and green, purple and yellow, pink and green
The color that you get when you mix red and orange would be a darker orange. This is also known as a blood orange.

Example: if you mix blue and yellow you will get green, mix red and blue and you will get purple, mix red and yellow and you will get orange.

You cannot get orange with the colors red and green. To get orange you should mix yellow and red. If you mix red and green you get brown.
