As long as you do not have one piece of metal touching both, nothing will happen. The voltage (about 14 volts) is not high enough to shock you.
current flows from the negative to the positive cable and back into the battery cells, recombining with the element depleted of electrons that are flowing out the negative cable. The process is not 100% efficient and the battery will eventually cease producing current.
Nothing happens to the vehicle if you connect the negative side first. But is is safer to connect the positive side first. Reason If the negative side is already connected and you put the positive side on you take a chance of touching a part of the body or radiator with your wrench while tightening it, causing the positive side to ground out. If your negative side is not connected yet and you touch the wrench to the body while tighting the positive side nothing will happen. So installing the positive side first reduces the chance of shorting the battery out which could cause the battery to explode.
Depending on colours of course black is usually negative and the other colour (generally red but depends) is positive. Get a D-cell Battery. Now get two pieces of speaker wire. hold one wire on the positive terminal of the battery and hold the other on the negative side of the battery. touch the wires to the positive and negative posts on the speaker. if the cone moves out ward the positive and negative are correct if it moves inward then the positive and negative are reversed (out of phase.) this simple test will allow you to see which terminal is which. it depends what you think of the ipod touch. you may think positive or negative of it, it is your opinion. my opinion is that the ipod touch is the greatest and most advanced ipod yet.
Negative and negative sides of a magnet do not touch. opposites attract. Negative and positives touch.
Depends on what kind of battery you lick. If you lick a D, C, AA or AAA battery, nothing will happen because your tongue won't touch both positive and negative terminals. However, if you lick a 4.5-Volt or a 9-Volt battery so that your tongue touches both positive and negative terminals, you'll feel a slight unpleasant harmless shock.
Take the positive battery terminal loose and touch it to the negative terminal post for 30 seconds. Then put the positive terminal back on.
Run a wire from the POSITIVE terminal on the battery and touch the red wire (positive) to the window motor and run another wire from the NEGATIVE terminal on the battery and touch the green wire (negative) to the window motor. The window should go down. Reverse the wires to make the window go up.
You don't. You remove the positive cable first. Here's why. If you remove the negative cable, then it's dangling or it's in a place where the tension on the cable can move it and touch a metal part of the either the body, frame or other component, thus inadvertently completing the circuit. With the power still connected while you're performing maintenance, you can get shocked, or fry a component. Same with removing jumper cables, remove the positive first, then the negative. If the positive cable hits the body or the frame, nothing happens, it's two negative sides meeting together, NOT completing the circuit.
Positive Touch was created in 1981-05.

think of this protons/protine you need protine so its posotive neutron neuteral you know what that means and electrons electrick it hurts like hell if you touch it so negetive
