The nutrition in the food you eat helps you with your eyesight and skin, and help fight off in fections. With this type off nutrients, imagine what could happen if we used all lot more nutrients so we could get better eyesight, better skin, and fight off infections.
Well obivously some of the best things for keeping the immune system healthy would be to have a healthy diet. Eating fruits, vegetables, and lowering your body's red meat intake are all good starts. Drinking at least a quart of water a day is also a good way to keep your body replenished. Proper exercising is great for the body, as well as getting the right amount of sleep a night. There are some other things you can do to maintain your immune system, such as taking vitamin C supplements. Echinacea is also generally thought to be good for preventing illnesses.
It starts out like this,
1 The T cell recognizes an antigen presenting phagocyte [infected cell]
2 Upon recognition, the T cell multiplies in numbers
3 Some T cells will "tell" the B cells to make certain antibodies which stick and clump the said pathogens together, leaving them vunerable and immobilized
4 The T cells kill all of the Infected cells that typically reproduce the pathogens
People may already have had the disease so the T cells would already know what particular antibody to produce and not have to waste their time figuring it out
Many of them do, but vitamin C does the most of them all. B vitamins also keep certain diseases from ocurring, but these [such as Beri-Beri, which is stopped by B-3] are not contagius.
The immune system
Bacterium cells help the immune system fight off different things. This is what helps make the immune system stronger.
It can build up white blood cells to fight against the infection and if it is present again you will all ready be immune to it. That is why vaccinations have a small amount of the infection in them, so you can become immune to it later.
The immune system is aided by mainly Vitamin C which helps boost the immune system to build defenses to most diseases. Also it is called immunity which heps protect the body from an infection after the first time.
Your immune system.
The immune system
The lymphatic system is sometimes called the secondary immune system, as it helps to fight infection by filtering out foreign material such as bacteria. The primary immune system is of course the white blood cells in the blood itself, which identify and attack foreign bodies directly.
Lymphatic system
1- the immune systems helps fight off diseases 2-your skin is the first line of defense for your immune system. hope that helps!:)
AnswerLymphatic System. I sure hope it is because if its not am going to get an F on my homework!! :(
To my understanding a FEVER occurs as a warning that the immune system may or is threaten by a virus or infection that it's not able to fight without intervention... Hope this helps...
Your immune system. The healthier your immune system is, the more likely you will be able to fight off infections and diseases. Antibodies are proteins in the blood that fight disease. - DLW
