If you go south far enough you will reach the Southern Hemisphere.
The hemisphere that is south of us, is the Southern Hemisphere.
North America is in the northern hemisphere. The hemisphere south of North America, then, is the southern hemisphere.
Northern (and also western).
The Southern Hemisphere
N. A.: North
S. A.: South
Since Texas is in the Northern Hemisphere, it is closer to the North pole.
South because the USA is in the northern hemisphere.
Texas is positioned in both the Northern and Western hemisphere.
South of the northern hemisphere is the southern hemisphere. There is no hemisphere "south of the western hemisphere" which extends to the South Pole. (East or west of the western is the eastern hemisphere.)
You would need to travel toward the south to reach the equator. Because Dallas is in the Northern Hemisphere not the southern hemisphere. BTW the Northern Hemisphere is the upper half of the earth. The Southern Hemisphere is the lower part of the earth.
It is all a matter of perspective. The southern hemisphere is below the equator from the perspective of someone living in the northern hemisphere. To an Australian, the northern hemisphere would be below the equator.
the hemisphere south of Oklahoma is the southern hemisphere
The hemisphere that is south of California is the Southern Hemisphere.
Both are on the northwestern hemisphere.
There is no hemisphere south the western hemisphere, only one east.
If you live in the southern hemisphere, anything south of you is in the southern hemisphere. The total of things south of you makes up less than a whole hemisphere, so there is no hemisphere south of you.
Which hemisphere is south from were you live in?
