Music, music reading, music history, poetry, literature, songwriting, Math, English (even if you plan to write 'rap music'), Jazz Music (which specializes in harmonies, and rhythms) voice lessons and learn to play at least one instrument that you can base your music on (for example: Phil Collins. Drums are very prominent in his music). Don't think that you can just 'flow' with a little 'rap' or some groovy tunes (Okay, I was joking) and that's going to get you famous. Even if you have a lovely singing voice, voice lessons will help your to use and preserve your voice properly. Then you'll need a manager. This is where the math comes in. The days are long gone where high school students can take their music and poems to a producer like Barry Gordy, and be famous the next year. Even Gordy demanded that all of his singers learn to read music, speak properly, and some of them played several musical instruments. ----

No high school subjects are career subjects except for opportunity classes. I suggest you take classes in AP math and English. You will need a good command of writing skills and to think out of the box. Get good grades and take part in your student government. Take the SAT and get as good of a score that you can. All of these things will get you in a good college so you can reach your goal.
Assuming you are talking about high school or secondary school, it's best to bone up on biology, chemistry (inorganic and organic), lots of math and algebra. Also, since you'll be college-bound, work on language arts, because you'll be doing a lot of writing.
