Yes, actually they have. There is a guy well known named Rodney Fox who was almost killed by a great white. When you are far out into the open sea, Great Whites are around. In fact, great whites aren't even the deadliest sharks. Sharks are attracted to blood, splashing, bright colors, and jewelry.
