assuming the things he is being asked to do are reasonable and not overbearing, he does not respect the person he is committed to nor the relationship he is in. the person to whom he is committed should regard this as his/her boundaries being crossed and that person should end the relationship, regardless of how much that person cares for him. never allow anyone to cross a boundary that you have clearly communicated is there, because you respect yourself and your needs.
