There is a much safer, easier way (found in your AR pocketbook). its called resetting. Turn off your console (with action replay DS inserted) and then turn it back on. as soon as the console boots/starts, hold down the buttons A and B at the same time. keep holding the down, then, as soon as you see the action replay ds license also hold down START and SELECT. You should be holding 4 buttons for at least 10 seconds or until action replay loads. If you try to see if there's anything there and there is, retry.

When the blue and red lines come on your action replay this means that the action replay is messed up. One thing i did and works every time is click on the delete button on the action replay (top right bottom screen) ten times, turn off your game turn it back on while holding A plus B. Let go of the buttons after the action replay comes on and it wont happen for a long time.:)
