that just happened to me so i checked these postings and first was the checking of the egr. 344.00 for this part but the postings say that you can remove it and clean it out and that should do it. if this doesnt work next check the upper o2 sensor. that's what worked for mine. the 3rd could be and this isn't fact but the cooling sensor may be about to malfunction. the next thing to check if non of these are the problem is the valves may be misfiring but a tune up should fix that if you have to come to this step #4.
This is usually followed by P1525/1526/1540,all involving the air bypass valve.one of the ways the tcs on the Millenia reduces power and torque is to adjust the amount of boost that is produced(7 PSI in 1rst,14 PSI in 2nd,3rd,4th.).To do this it uses the ABV to adjust the amount of the air charge as it exits the dynamic chamber. If there is insufficient vent or vacuum(P1525/1526) the ABV will not function properly and also trigger P1540(ABV actuator circuit malfunction). There are no real drivability issues with any of these codes, but your traction control may not function properly,or at all, until it is fixed. The P1540 will go away(most of the time) when the P1525/1526 are fixed.
