If there wasn't a break out then nothing would happen.

In order to pass anything to your eyes you would have to scratch a break out then with in seconds touch your eyes.

If you touched your eyes minutes or hours after touching the break out then also nothing would happen. Herpes doesn't live for more then a few seconds when it's out side of the body.
