There can be many reasons why your period didn't start yet, pregnancy is one of them. If pregnancy is excluded, which should be the first thing you do, and your period didn't start yet, look for other reasons.
Other possible reasons:
- Anorexia can cause periods to stop and eventually lead to infertility.
- Stress or a heavy emotional experience can cause periods to delay.
- Change of climate/ surroundings/ daily rhythm.
If you are not sure about it, see a doctor. Better to know early and maybe it isn't even a problem.
