I think you should tell him, because it might change his mind to hear that you like him so he might start liking you. Plus, what if he says he doesnt like you because he doesn't think you like him ? So I guess there could be a couple downsides, like if he really doesnt like you, but just go for it, and you will probs be happy you did.
