No, you don't want to wear the patch during mestruation. However if this is your first time using this method of Birth Control and you chose to do a "Sunday start" then you will apply the patch on the first Sunday after you have started menstruating. ∙ 11y agoI just began using the patch and I started bleeding in the third week. The doctor said it was not a problem, I had just started the process in the middle of my cycle and my body might take a while to adjust.
