It would be less steep

If y12x - 2 were changed to y12x how would the graph of the new function compare with the original?

If you mean y = 12x -2 and y = 12x then both slopes will be parallel but with the changed function having its slope passing through the origin (0, 0)

If y x plus 5 were changed to y x plus 9 how would the graph of the new function compare with the first one?

If you mean y = x+5 changed to y = x+9 then the lines will be parallel to each other but with different y intercepts.

How does the graph of an inequality compare to its related function?

The graph is a region of the space on one side or another of the related function. If the inequality is strict then the related function itself is not part of the solution; otherwise it is.

If y 12x plus 7 were changed to y 12x plus 2 how would the graph of the new function compare with the original?

It would be shifted down

If y equals 5x - 2 were changed to y equals x - 2 how would the graph of the new function compare with the first one?

The graphs of y = 5x - 2 and y = x - 2 will have different slopes but with the same y intercepts.

If y equals x plus 5 were changed to y equals x plus 9 how would the graph of the new function compare with the first?

Both lines would be parallel to each but the y intercept would change from 5 to 9

Is the first derivative of a function is a constant then its graph is?

A line. The derivative of a function is its slope. If the slope is a constant then the graph is a line.

If the slop of the function y equal -3.5x plus 12.8 is changed to 1.5 then describe the graph of the new function?

The straight line in the graph goes 'uphill' from left to right
