What in greenhouse gases are bad for the ozone?
CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) are greenhouse gases. They also destroy ozone.
Greenhouse gases are largely attributed to the depletion of Earth's ozone layer - known as the greenhouse effect which was first discovered by Joseph Fourier in 1824. The four major gases within the greenhouse gases are: water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane and ozone. Ozone is itself a greenhouse gas. It also traps heat inside it and acts as a greenhouse gas. However the amount of greenhouse effect that ozone causes is very less than the other gases which include water vapor, carbon-dioxide, methane, nitrous oxides and CFCs. However, the ozone layer has very little connection with the greenhouse effect.
