Hi

Basically this is what happens

Platelets and other damaged cells release a mixture into the blood which converts the enzyme Prothrombin (inactive) to thrombin. Thrombin then converts Fibrinogen(inactive) into Fibrin to form a fibrin clot.

I make the proteins/enzymes bold

in the end your answer would be Fibrin

Platelets. If you have a small amount of platelets it is hard to stop a cut or bruise from never clotting, but temperature and the type of injury can affect this too. Some useful info:
Blood loses its ability to clot at 95 degrees.
Also, if you are stabbed it wont stop as fast as a cut.
If you cant stop bleeding, apply pressure.

Platelets
thrombocyte
Blood cells that help form blood clots are platelets and red blood cells.

Also, clotting factors are released, converting prothrombin to thrombin, which is the enzyme that converts fibrinogen to fibrin, which assists in the blood clotting process.

I believe there would be a type of net that would be formed to keep the red blood cells from escaping.
