He oredered to have millions of Jews executed. W/o his influence those Jews would have lived on and started families. Hitler gained support using Christianity as his base. He was a very powerful speaker and people loved him. Only the closest people to him knew he was mentally ill. WW2 would have had much higher survival rate if Hitler hadn't gained political power.

Hitler was influenced by the works of philosophers such as Nietszche and Kant but primarily by Richard Wagner. He once said that anyone wishing to understand Nazism had to first understand Wagner. He was also influenced by events in his youth, particularly Germany's defeat in World War 1 and his years as a homeless artist in Vienna. Finally, his fear of communism was a key feature of his actions when in power.

Basically, himself. Hitler believed that he was the one almighty, and that he should rule the entire world.

Hitler had many influences that guided his politics. He, for example did not originate antisemitism. That was ingrained in Europe by Martin Luther. Hitler was influenced by the antisemitism of Richard Wagner as well.

His war policies came from Hegel and Nietzsche. The list is longer than this, and Hitler was definitely influenced by others.
