The on-screen speedo's top speed incates 270 km/h so I would imagine 260 km/h would be possible. This speed would rarely be achieved during any race. The track with the longest straight would be a good indicator of the cars top speed.
The A1 GP uses technology based on F1 cars. Rules state that A1 GP cars must weigh 700kg dry and usually make 540bhp or 600bhp for short periods of time. F1 cars weigh 605kg wet and make up to 780bhp. A Honda F1 car with it's aerodynamic effects adjusted for top speed, managed to hit 415km/h(258mph) in the Mojave desert. Based on known statistics, the F1 car will accelerate fast, brake faster and turn faster and in all likelihood have a higher top speed
Fast.. probably 375 kph or so... but it all depends on the gearing and the aero.... NONE of the cars run that fast anymore because of the lack of downforce.
Well the record top speed on a track was 372.6 km/h = 231.523MPH. This was at 2005 Italian GP.
No. Haybusa's are speed limited to about 180 mph, 340 kph is approximately 220 mph.
The fastest speed recorded in a Formula 1 Car during a Formula 1 season is 372.6 km/h (231.523 mph) during the 2005 Italian GP.
Nope the cant! Their top speed goes up to about 347kmph! That is about 217mph. Achieved by Dani Pedrosa on his Repsol Honda.
