Book #9 comes out on May 29 2009 called Captain Underpants and the return of tippy tinkletrousers. Book #9 hasent came out yet in America cause i went to the website of captain underpants and it still has the 8th book you can look for youself at http://www.davpilkey.com
It is almost May 29th, 2010, so I'm not sure if Pilkey is still writing it... hope so, I'd like to finish the series. I'm getting older and soon I might not LIKE Captain Underpants... but I probably will.

Captain Underpants is a fictional children's book character created by author and illustrator Dav Pilkey. He is the superhero alter ego of school principal Mr. Krupp, who fights crime and saves the day in a series of humorous and adventurous stories.

∙ 12y agocaptain underpants is a bald person and he only wears a red cape with black spots on it and regular white underpants. george and Harold write comics about captain underpants. one day george and Harold hypnotized mr. krupp (their mean old principle) to be captain underpants with the 3-d hypno ring. now whenever someone snaps their fingers mr. krupp turns into captain underpants, and the only way to turn him back to normal is to pour water on his head. then one day the school was attacked by a UFO! captain underpants drank alien super power juice and now he can fly and stuff.there is 8 captain underpants books so far. and if you thought captain underpants is real you're a big fatty fart face.
