Storm chasers are important because we need them to document storms on their intensity, location, date, where they rank in history, and to give local meteorologists info on the storms so they can warn people of any danger.
There are quet a few. There are: Hurricanes Tornados Rain storms Hail Storms Blizzards Thunder storms Snow storms Sand storms Dust storms and Wind storms. I know sand, dust and wind stroms sound the same but they're not. P.S. My favorite storm is a blizzard by the way! :)
Storms bring our attention to God. Storms clean up nature and restructures that which needs to be restructured for its benefit. Storms show us the power and majesty of God himself. Storms showed the disciples that Jesus is God, he his the controller of storms.
There is no particular term for storms that occur on land. Types of storm that can occur on land include thunderstorms, derechos, tornadoes, dust storms, snow storms, ice storms, windstorms, and mid-latitude cyclones.
