Ian Fleming -the author of the hugely successful James Bond books- created James Bond as an English spy originally. However in the films, a variety of actors of different English speaking nationalities have played James Bond (but even then the main character is said to be English/British).

∙ 12y agoJames Bond is British. Since he was Born in Portugal, (parents working abroad?) and his father was Scottish. mother Swiss he could (& probably did) take British Nationality through his father. But he is not strictly speaking either Enmglish or scottish, just British.
