Luke represents the new "Chosen One". In the Prequel trilogy in The Phantom Menace Anakin Skywalker was just a young child on the planet Tatooine. Qui-Gon sensed that he was the chosen one to bring balance to the force and destroy the Sith. Eventually he is drawn to the dark side and is found out not to be the chosen one. Luke and Leia were separated and they are not both the chosen one. Leia started fighting with the rebellions against the evil galactic empire. Then Luke comes along after he meets R2-D2. He pulls a trigger on R2 and sees a video of Leia. She mentions about Obi-wan Kenobi and it relates to Ben Kenobi an old hermit. He eventually dies to save Luke and Leia and Han Solo in the Milenium Falcon.) Trust me I know these things:)
