Yes, one gun manufacturer at least built a two barrel derringer that was chambered for 410 rounds. While a 410 is relatively small, technically is is still a shotgun, and in a pistol as small as the derringer, firing it is a wrist-breaker.

$100. If you find someone that REALLY wants one maybe a little more.

The 410 hammerless essex shotgun is worth anywhere from $300 to $350 in good shape.

There have been several handguns made that fire .410 shotgun shells- most recently the Taurus Judge. By the way, .410 is actually a caliber of shotgun, not a gauge. A .410 shotshell is about 67 gauge- but no one uses that designation.

A Churchill Windsor 1 410 shotgun may be worth over $500. However, there are some essential factors that will determine its worth like the condition that it is in.

i have a model 940 E 410 shotgun how old is it and what is it worth

User Avatar

None. While there are firearms made to shoot .45 Colt AND .410 shotshells, they are designed and made to do that. A regular .410 shotgun is NOT made to do that safely.

This weapon was manufactured by the maker of the MAC10. I have an over-under derringer by FMJ Ducktown, TN. It is a 22cal under and a 410/colt 45 over. Some infomantion is under LEINAD which is Daniel spelled backward. Also COBRAY. JD

410 is a shotgun, not a rifle. And I can't find any H&R Model 1915, rifle, shotgun, or pistol, so that is probably a patent date. What type action does it have and are there any other markings? The 410 Handy Gun is a pistol which fires 410 shotgun rounds. It is impossible to register and illegal from what I've been able to gather. The Handy Gun is a .410 bore shotgun pistol manufactured by H&R. The Model 1915 was the successor to the Model 1905 shotgun line. The 410-12mm refers to the bore size simply in millimeters instead of inches. They were also marked 410-44 from 1916-1921. The 410-12mm marking was used between 1922-1936. If the gun is not already registered as a short barreled shotgun it will probably not be allowed and will most likely be confiscated by the BATF. I have a standard Model 1915 myself.

Iver Johnson did not have a 410 gauge or bore in 1907. The 410 came along about 1920.

You can use nothing but 410 shells in a 410 shotgun.

The 410 Shotgun is really .410 Caliber. Unlike all other sizes of shotgun, (10,12,16,20,28gauge), the 410 is measured in caliber. I believe it works out to something like 36 gauge. So the 410 shotgun is .41 Caliber
