B-12 is used to clean throttle body and any carb parts. I have used b-12 to get cars into the shop when fuel pump has went out on gas engine. You just spray it right in the throttle body/carb. That would be the spray b-12. Now the liquid b-12 can go directly in the gas. Usely one can per 21 gallons. It cleans valves, injectors, o2 sensers, spark plugs, etc.... It is multi purpose cheamical.

  1. Vitamin B12 is used for treating and preventing vitamin B12 deficiency, a condition in which vitamin B12 levels in the blood are too low. It is also used to treat pernicious anemia, a serious type of anemia that is due to vitamin B12 deficiency and is found mostly in older people.B12 is a water-soluble B vitamin found in seafood, meat, eggs, dairy, and lots of fortified foods like cereals.Vitamin B12 is necessary for normal function of the brain and nervous system and the formation of blood cells. It is also vital in the metabolism of every cell in the body and is used in DNA and fatty acid synthesis and energy production. So, vitamin B12 is kind of a big deal.

My mom takes B12 shots (also known as Cobalamin). She has a B12 deficiency, which is the reason for the shots. It is a sign of malnutrition, malabsorption or pernicious anemia. B12 deficiencies can cause neurological problems that mimic symptoms of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) as well as cause other symptoms (depression, fatigue, mania, poor memory, psychosis, parathesias (tingling /numbness), ataxia). Untreated, or if not treated promptly, it can cause severe and permanent damage to the brain and/or nervous system.

Pernicious anemia used to be deadly until they discovered the cause and cure. Pernicious anemia is an autoimmune disorder that destroys parietal cells in the stomach which B12 binds to for absorption. Hence if this is the cause of a B12 deficiency, a simple B12 vitamin will not suffice (as it still cannot be absorbed by the stomach), so injections are needed. An alternate possibility is a B12 sublingual pills (that dissolves under the tongue) and are supposed to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream, but the effectiveness of sublingual pills in general or with certain conditions is debated among doctors.

Vitamin B12 shots are advertised as a weight loss booster. It is claimed that receiving large amounts of vitamin B12 speeds up the body's metabolism, making it easier to lose weight. Other more easily proven benefits of Vitamin B12 focus around avoiding the dangers brought on by B12 deficiency such as brain damage.
