sucrose is table sugar and its formula is C 12 H 22 O 11. Surose is formed by plants. Lactose is also called milk sugar. While lactose has the same formula as sucrose, Lactose is produced in the mammary glands (of animals) during lactation.

Glucose is one of the most important carbohydrates and Sucrose is made up of glucose and fructose.

Glucose is a simple sugar, a monosaccharide. Sucrose is a disaccaride, a compound comprised of 2 simple sugars, glucose and fructose. Sucrose is what we know as table sugar.
