A desirable cholesterol level is below 200 milligrams, if you are above 240 milligrams then you have a high level of cholesterol. For your overall cholesterol level, less than 200 is desirable. For your LDL cholesterol level, less than 100 is desirable. Talk with your doctor more about your cholesterol levels and ways to keep them at their optimal levels.
