400+
Over time, yes.
Well, the legal FPS for an airsoft gun is 450, but you can get snipers, AEG's, etc. that run up to 600 FPS and beyond.
Usually 400fps for AEG's and 450fps for Snipers.
Most snipers have to use their unit or agency supplied ammo and some maybe lucky enough to be able to select it themselves. No matter if it is Military lake City M118 or Federal Match you will be tied to it. A speed for the 308 cal. at most wil be 2640 fps.
A gas powered airsoft gun with high fps is great but the only gas guns or snipers and pistols your need a good echo 1 electric aeg gun get iether 390 fps or higher for istnence i got a ehcko 1 x36k it go 400 fps and 140 feet that's the best you can get 140 ft is the best.go to airsoftatlanta
depends on what you want to do, how heavy the bb is, and what kind of gun it is. i prefer assault rifles to be at least 375 fps with .12g bbs. i would use .25g though. with snipers i like at least 500 fps with .12g but i use .28g. pistols should be 275 or more and use .20. the heavier the bb, the more accurate. let me know what you're looking for and i could help you out
The best.

To be blunt, Horrible. A good aeg is around 300 while a good gas gun can reach 600 if it's amazing. But if you are looking for a good electric submachine gun for like 20,30,40 dollars than you are going to have to settle for about 200-230 fps. but there is several ways to upgrade your gun. EX: bigger battery. EX 2: upgrade gear box (30,40,50 some $s)
Any spring Airsoft gun is likely to shoot <200 FPS with the exception of snipers. Remember, FPS only influences muzzle velocity. As far as range is concerned, air resistance compensates, and a higher FPS only allows you to have a heavier BB. I own a Tokyo Marui Scar-H and it shoots 299.8 FPS, but is deadly accurate, much more than my M4A1 which does 370. Honestly, get an AEG if you really want higher FPS, it DOES make people call their hits hehe
usually .12 gram bb's are for like gun s that arnt that good n cheap, but overall .2 grams are the best. the .23 and up are usually for snipers that shoot around 450+ fps
