You should defenetly give her an iPod, a phone, clothes, a pet, you could give her a neckless, rings, earings, bracelets, guitar, violin, it really dipends on what she likes, maybe new glasses, or sun glasses, or, take her on a shopping spree, that would defenetly make her happy, or take her to dinner, it could be mother daughter, father daughter, or the whole family. anyone would enjoy a new pet in there family maybe a new dog.

It all matters if she's a girly-girl, big tom-boy, or a good mix. Me, being an ok mix, I don't really like to take hours of shopping. I'm gonna divide 1st answer's into categories:

Best advice is to ask the mom what her daughter's into. My daughter's the epitome of the "tween" - she isn't sure if she wants to be a kid and get toys or a teen and get more sophisticated things. Her wish list this year ranges from Littlest Pet Shop toys (which she still plays with) to American Girl dolls/accessories to an iPhone and gift cards to redo her room in the Pottery Barn Teen peace collection.

There are a lot of good gifts to give to an 11 year old girl. Jewelry is a good gift and she might also enjoy makeup. Graphic tee shirts from Abercrombie and Hollister, Uggs, flat irons, and hair accessories are great. Any girly items will do, but if she is more into sports, I recommend wii games, facial cleansers, head bands, ipod gift cards, or CDs. If you cannot think of anything, gifts cards are also good gifts!

Clothes or gift Cards are always good, the rest is depending on the girls' character- if she is preppy and cheerful, the best thing is bright and happy things like CD's or iTunes Gift Cards, if she is more quiet and held back then maybe a book or movie would be better for her. It all depends on the character of the Girl. Also, asking her friends would help. You know, just ask them what she usually prefers doing at sleepovers or whenever her and her friends usually hang out.
