sorry but the price varies
Depends, if only the gasket is blown. The head may be warped or cracked. Hard to give you a price because it also depends on where you live and who does the repair.
How much am I looking at for a blown head gasket on a 545.i bmw 2005
head gasket? Between $800 and 1,800.
$30 if you do it yourself
The price to replace a blown head gasket on a Chrysler Sebring V6 should be around $1,000.00. The price can vary depending on where you have the repairs made or if you replace it yourself.
If you do it yourself, maybe $50. If you take it to a shop, probably at least $1,500
The cost to repair this type of head gasket ranges from $20 to $180+. The price ranges based on store, brand and labor costs.
2005 was the final model year for production of the Pontiac Sunfire. A failed or blown head gasket can result in lost compression, coolant contamination of the oil, and engine damage. A replacement head gasket set/kit can have a wholesale parts cost of 80$+ as of August 2014, plus at least 4 to 5 hours of labor, need to be factored in towards the price of a repair.
Have a 94 Honda Civic LX. Radiator develope a hole and overheated the engine. Dealer quoted price of $1900 to replace cylinder head gasket, valve covers, timing belts, water pump (other things as well). Plus replace radiator. Cost includes sending out gasket for surfacing.
Very serious! Engine damage will occur if you continue to drive this vehicle. You either have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Do not drive this vehicle. Repair ASAP. Yaa... that is very bad! You prolly have a blown head gasket. The coolant passes by your heads to cool them, and if the gasket is cracked or broke, then the oil leaks out into the coolant passageway. Sry for the bad news. I doubt the car would be worth it to try and get it fixed... u could price it out.. the labor is wut is gunna get ya!
Which engine, the 2.0 4-cylinder, or the 2.5 V6? Best bet - ask a good shop for a quote. or, you could ask a dealer, then figure about 60% of their price for a reputable independent shop.
You can't. Either way you will have to remove the head. When it's off send it out to a machine shop and for a nominal price they will check it and most likely repair and cracks.
