If you're looking for online auto-translation programs, you're not going to find one that's "reliable". It's simply impossible for a computer to translate well from one language to another, because language depends so much on context, tone, etc. Take the word "bon" for example. Most translators will always translate that to "good", but if you know very much French you know that that's going to be wrong a lot of the time ("la bonne réponse", etc.). that one translates "bien" to "definitely" when it modifies a form of "pouvoir", which seems like a good idea. Then again that one also translates "on" as "they", which seems like an odd choice to me.
